20.29.	Protocol to Implement the Ninth Package of Commitments on Financial Services under the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services	Jakarta, Indonesia 09 April 2026	This Protocol and its Annexes shall enter into force one hundred and eighty (180) days after the date of its signing. Subsequent commitments made in accordance with paragraph 5 shall enter into force one hundred and eighty (180) days after the date such commitments are notified in writing to the ASEAN Finance Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM) by the Secretary-General of ASEAN in coordination with the participating Member States. Each Member State undertakes to complete its internal procedures of ratification or acceptance for the entry into force of this Protocol and its Annexes. Each Member State shall, upon the completion of its internal procedures of ratification or acceptance for the entry into force of this Protocol and its Annexes, deposit its Instrument of Ratification or Acceptance with the Secretary-General of ASEAN, who shall notify other Member States of such deposit. 38.9.	Fifth Protocol to Amend the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement	Manila, Philippines 13 March 2026	This Protocol shall form an integral part of the ACIA and shall enter into force after all Member States have notified the completion of their respective internal procedures for the entry into force of this Protocol, or, where necessary, deposited instruments of ratification or acceptance with, the Secretary­-General of ASEAN, which, as much as possible, shall not take more than 365 days after the signing of this Protocol. 37.5.	Second Protocol to Amend the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement	Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 01 December 2025	This Protocol shall enter into force 18 months after the date of its signature. A Member State shall, within 18 months after the date of signature of this Protocol, notify in writing or, where necessary, deposit its instrument of ratification, acceptance, or approval with the Secretary-General of ASEAN upon completion of its internal procedures. In exceptional circumstances, where a Member State is unable to notify in writing the completion of its internal procedures or, where necessary, deposit its instrument of ratification, acceptance, or approval within 18 months after the date of signing of this Protocol in accordance with paragraph 2, the rights and obligations of that Member State under this Protocol shall commence on the date specified in the Member State's notification in writing of the completion of its internal procedures or deposit of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, or approval (as the case may be) to the Secretary-General of ASEAN, which shall be no later than 45 days from the date of receipt of such notification or deposit of instrument of ratification, acceptance, or approval.
